The Miami Heat will wrap up their season with a road game against the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday night. And though he's dealing with a bit of knee pain, Dwyane Wade is making an effort to be available for his last game in the NBA.
I’ve played 71 games this year so far and missed 7 because of the birth of my daughter. But I’ve played that many games and i haven’t hurt my knee like i did trying to get up on scorers table. 🤦🏾♂️ that was another reminder that it’s time to retire haha.

So I’m up way early then i should be doing treatment on my knee in hopes that the soreness dyes down before tonite game. Out of the playoffs and I’m still doing treatments to play.

Wade, now 37 years of age, has said that this will be his last season of service in the league. All throughout his “Last Dance” campaign, teams have been honoring his legacy with various tribute videos.
Wade played his final home game of the season on Tuesday night — a 122-99 victory over the Sixers. In 35 minutes of action, the former Marquette Golden Eagle racked up a team-high 30 points on 10-of-23 shooting from the field (4-of-10 from beyond the arc), three assists, three rebounds and one block. 14 of his points came in a thrilling fourth quarter display.

“Wade County,” Wade shouted to the crowd after the game after he jumped up onto the courtside table where Heat managing general partner Micky Arison sits, one last time, one last celebration. “I love you.”
If anyone is deserving of recognition, it's Wade. He established himself as one of the best 2-guards in NBA history, but he was also a down-right good guy. Heat fans will always appreciate his service, and he appreciates them right back.
“I'm the most thankful person in this city,” Wade told ESPN after Tuesday's game.
Whether or not Wade will be available for Wednesday's matchup against the Nets remains to be seen, but it sounds like he'll make an effort to play.
