Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade has had one of the most memorable careers in the league's history. His 16-year tenure in the NBA has been filled with a countless number of moments that he will carry with him for the rest of his life.
However, Wade had himself another proud moment of late, as he was selected as a special guest judge in NBC's hit TV show, “America's Got Talent.” The 37-year-old spoke to Karen Mizoguchi of People, as he shared his thoughts on his recent participation in one of today's biggest television shows.
“Joining my wife as a guest judge on America’s Got Talent was such an incredible experience,” Wade, 37, tells PEOPLE of working with Gabrielle Union, whom he married in August 2014.
“Watching Gabrielle change people’s lives and make dreams come true was very special,” the former athlete adds.

Wade also made use of the famed “Golden Buzzer” during his guesting, which is something he hopes will serve as an inspiration for others.
“I hope my Golden Buzzer moment inspires others to never give up on their dreams,” Wade says.
In truth, Wade does not need a Golden Buzzer moment to strike a moment of inspiration. His whole career has been the inspiration. The 13-time All-Star exhibited all the values one would expect from a model athlete throughout his career, and all his accomplishments both on and off the court is certainly something that the younger generations will look up to and hope to replicate.
