Miami Heat shooting guard Dwyane Wade is currently away from the team, tending to his wife and newborn baby girl, but the future Hall of Famer is still keeping his eye on the basketball world and appreciates Duke freshman Zion Williamson paying homage to Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James.
Zion Williamson is 6-foot-7 and 285 pounds. He has drawn comparisons to LeBron James, and the Duke phenom did a monster dunk on Wednesday, something that we have seen countless times James pulled off in the NBA.
Paying Homage to sir @KingJames that’s respect and dope! https://t.co/EIKBhvDT34

Zion Williamson already looks like a potential No. 1 overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft. His head is literally above the rim every time he dunks the ball. He can get to the paint whenever he wants and finish in heavy traffic. Like the early version of LeBron James, Zion Williamson is going to have to prove he can consistently hit the outside jumper, but right now, his driving ability and athleticism are so fun to watch.
Barring something unforeseen, NBA fans are going to get to see Zion Williamson and LeBron James go against each other in the NBA next season. Dwyane Wade will be retired, as he's ending his legendary NBA career after this year, but he'll probably have a front row seat at Staples Center thanks to his friendship with LeBron.
