The Dwyane Wade farewell tour took its last stop at the famed Madison Square Garden when the Miami Heat faced the New York Knicks on Saturday.
Following his team's 100-92 win over the home team, Wade could not help but share how special it was for him to play in this world famous venue for one final time:
“You love playing here. You hear about it,” said Wade, who stuck around after the final buzzer to take in the love from the crowd that serenade him with chants of “D-Wade! D-Wade!” throughout the night, per ESPN.
The 37-year-old also reminisced about one of the first times he graced the floor at MSG, and he described how it still feels extremely special to this very day:

“When I played in college, I got the opportunity to play here, the Coaches vs Cancer Classic,” added Wade. “It was just immediately, that feel, and the feel was there. Getting an opportunity to play (here) in the NBA has been special.”
Wade put forth another noteworthy performance in front of The Garden crowd, helping his side to a crucial victory. The 6-foot-4 shooting guard accounted for 16 points (on 6-of-16 shooting), seven rebounds, three assists, one steal, and one block in 27 minutes off the Heat bench.
This was a big win for the Heat, as they were able to maintain their hold on the eighth overall spot in the Eastern Conference, with the Orlando Magic still breathing down their neck at just a half-game behind in the standings.
