When the Miami Heat take on the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday, Heat legend Dwyane Wade could etch his name next to Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan and Los Angeles Lakers star small forward LeBron James.

Once Dwyane Wade hits his next 3-pointer, he will join Jordan and LeBron as the only players in NBA history with at least 20,000 points, 5,000 assists, 4,000 rebounds, 1,500 steals, 800 blocks and 500 3-pointers:

This is going to be a special moment for Dwyane Wade. The future Hall of Famer grew up idolizing MJ when he was a kid growing up in Chicago, and LeBron is Wade's best friend.

For Wade to be able to join the ranks of those two players, it will surely mean a lot to D-Wade in what is his last season in the NBA.

Wade's “farewell tour” is going pretty well so far. The 12-time All-Star is averaging 14.1 points, 3.6 rebounds and 3.9 assists per game coming off the Heat's bench while shooting 41.2 percent from the field, 32.7 percent from beyond the arc and 70.3 percent from the free-throw line.

Flash has even turned back the clock a few times. Dwyane Wade scored 35 points on Nov. 25 against the Toronto Raptors. He has scored at least 20 or more points four times this season.
