Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade has consistently said nothing is going to change his mind about retiring from the NBA after this season.
That's not going to stop Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra from trying to get Flash to play at least one more season.
Spoelstra on Nowitzki possibly retiring, "I'm still working on trying to convince Dwyane another year. Maybe it could be a package deal."

Dwyane Wade has been playing really well this season for the Heat, who are 36-38 on the season and fighting for their playoff lives.

Miami is in the ninth spot in the Eastern Conference standings, a half-game behind the Orlando Magic for the eighth and final playoff spot. The entire NBA world is hoping the Heat can reach the postseason so that basketball fans can see Wade play in the playoffs one more time.
In 64 games this season, Wade is averaging 14.4 points, 3.8 rebounds and 4.1 assists per contest. The future Hall of Famer is shooting 43.8 percent from the field, 32.9 percent beyond the arc, and 67.8 percent from the free throw line.
D-Wade and Erik Spoelstra have a very close relationship, but it's going to take a miracle for Spoelstra to get Wade to play another season. The 13-time All-Star has made up his mind and is sticking to it.
Wade and the Heat host the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday. It will be the last time Wade and Mavs legend Dirk Nowitzki play each other.
