The Miami Heat may be in the midst of a bit of a rough patch with regard to the recent in-game dust-up involving Jimmy Butler, Erik Spoelstra, and Udonis Haslem. However, they are keeping their eye on the prize and the front office continues to make moves to ensure that this team is in the best position to compete for a championship.

In this respect, the Heat have decided to sign former Golden State Warriors swingman Mychal Mulder to a two-way deal. This report comes via Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald:

Mulder played 15 games for the Orlando Magic earlier this season, averaging 3.7 points and 1.4 rebounds in 13.0 minutes off the bench. Orlando waived the 6-foot-3 guard/forward in January.

Prior to his stint with the Magic, Mulder played two seasons in Golden State alongside Stephen Curry and Co. He definitely learned a lot under coach Steve Kerr and this experience could be valuable now that he's joined the Heat.

It is worth noting that Miami also waived the services of 24-year-old combo guard Kyle Guy in order to make room for Mulder on the roster. Guy played 19 games for the Heat this season and will now be looking for a new team once he hits free agency.
