Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade's final season — or “One Last Dance” — has everyone commenting on his legacy, and Minnesota Timberwolves head coach Tom Thibodeau is no different. Thibodeau has high praise for Wade's play, but he's also cognizant of the impact Wade has off the court, specifically in the Miami area.

“I was always impressed with not only the way he played but what he was doing in the community there,” Tom Thibodeau told Chris Hine of the Star Tribune. “It said a lot about him as a person. … When you think of the Heat, you think of Wade.”

Wade deserves all the praise coming his way this season. He's a three-time champion and a legend of his generation. He's a sure-fire Hall of Famer who will be missed dearly. He may not be the same player he once was, but he still has a little bit of magic left.

As for his contributions off the court, not many people do more for the Miami area than Wade. He's a pillar of the community who embodies what the Miami Heat are all about, as Tom Thibodeau noted.

It always felt strange watching Wade play with the Chicago Bulls and Cleveland Cavaliers. It never looked quite right. That being said, fans are lucky that Wade was able to find his way back to Miami so his final season could be done right. Farewell tours are getting old, but Wade is a legend and deserves to be celebrated.
