Victor Oladipo officially kicked off his career in a Miami Heat jersey by doing what he does best.
In the closing seconds of the first quarter of Dipo’s Heat debut against the Golden State Warriors on Thursday, the two-time All-Star was ahead of everybody else on the fastbreak. He finished off his first bucket as a member of the Heat in style, throwing down a thunderous right-handed slam to cut the visitors' lead to just two points.

Oladipo's desire to move to South Beach has been teased all season long, and he finally got his wish in the trade deadline. This is the 28-year-old winger's third team in the 2020-21 campaign, starting with the Indiana Pacers before playing 20 games for the Houston Rockets.
In 20 games in H-Town, Dipo averaged 21.2 points on 40.7 percent shooting from the field, along with 4.8 rebounds, 5.0 assists, and 1.2 steals. He now joins a streaking Heat team who are looking to improve on their surprising bridesmaids' finish last season inside the bubble.
Article Continues BelowDespite the Heat's recent struggles, perhaps the addition of a player like Oladipo is enough to move them back up the Eastern Conference standings.
By the early looks of it, Oladipo is adjusting just fine to his new surroundings. After all, a two-way star of his caliber easily fits any team's system, plus his game already has Heat culture written all over it.
