Seemingly everyone and their mother has continued to praise longtime Miami Heat shooting guard Dwyane Wade throughout the last week or so — and rightfully so. On Tuesday evening in Miami, with the Heat taking on the surging Philadelphia 76ers, the veteran two-guard will be suiting up for his final regular season home game as a member of the Eastern Conference franchise. As a result, the 44th President of the United States, Barack Obama, had a heartfelt message for Wade. Of course, both Wade and Obama are natives of Chicago, Illinois, which makes this tribute video just a bit more special.

With Wade's eventual victory lap lasting much more than just one night, the seasoned shooting guard even participated in this year's NBA All-Star Game as part of “Team LeBron.” The NBA ultimately decided to add both Wade and Dallas Mavericks big man Dirk Nowitzki to the fold in Charlotte as each legend will be hanging it up for good at this season's end.

Wade, who briefly spent time with both the Cleveland Cavaliers and Chicago Bulls as well, most notably helped bring three NBA titles to Miami with those championships coming in 2006, 2012 and 2013.
