One of the biggest matchups in the NBA Finals will be between Anthony Davis and Bam Adebayo. The two centers have different styles, but they are both defensive stalwarts and have had a huge impact during the Los Angeles Lakers' and Miami Heat's runs to the NBA Finals.
On the daily Locked On Heat Podcast, hosts Anthony Irwin (Locked On Lakers Podcast) and David Ramil (Locked On Heat Podcast) discussed the one area where Bam Adebayo has a major advantage over Anthony Davis.

Anthony Irwin: I feel like it's unfair to say that Bam Adebayo, at 23-years-old, isn't as good… or that there's a decent gap between him and Anthony Davis, who has a couple more years in the league on him and was the better prospect coming out of college.
I think there were things that Bam does, the passing the Bam that offers… one of my major frustrations watching Anthony Davis since he came to the Lakers has been how he handles double teams. The Lakers don't always take full advantage of a team having to double team Davis because of the lack of fundamentals he has in passing the ball out of those situations. You watch Bam, and I don't think he generates as many double teams just heading into the matchups that AD does. If he does get doubled, you're almost working into his skill set. I think that's an area where Bam has a major advantage over Anthony Davis.
David Ramil: It's interesting in that sense that… the Lakers have more top-end talent than Miami. However, given that Miami has a number of players who can always find a way to be the best player in a game, that may not necessarily decide the series, because there's going to be a night where Tyler Herro could be out-playing Davis to some degree. There's gonna be a night where Bam is out-playing Davis, and if that's the case, then all of a sudden that talent disparity might not be as marked as it is right now.
