Despite losing 130-125 to the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday night, Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo scored a career high 52 points. He's the 11th player to score at least 50 points this season, breaking the previous record of 10 which was set in 2016-17 and tied in 2017-18.

The Greak Freak now joins Houston Rockets' James Harden, Golden State Warriors' Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, Los Angeles Lakers' LeBron James, Minnesota Timberwolves' Derrick Rose, Detroit Pistons' Blake Griffin, San Antonio Spurs' LaMarcus Aldridge, Portland Trail Blazers' Damian Lillard, and Charlotte Hornets' Kemba Walker as the only players with at least 50 points this season.

Harden notched 50 points six times this campaign.

Giannis Antetokounmpo is also the fourth Bucks player to score at least 50 points over the past 12 years.

The All-Star forward is the main reason why Milwaukee holds the best record in the league this season. He has taken his game to the next level while turning the franchise from a playoff contender last year to a championship-caliber squad this season.

Giannis has made major strides in terms of his game, prompting fans to begin conversations on whether or not he's already the best player in the league.

One thing is for sure though, Antetokounmpo hasn't reached his prime yet. And once he does, he will be one of the most sensational players the league has ever seen. He's already being mentioned in the same breath as LeBron and Durant, but he is expected to surpass both in the next couple of years.
