At this point, many consider Giannis Antetokounmpo to be the driving force that has not only led the Milwaukee Bucks to the best record in the NBA today, but has also transformed the image of the franchise to a very likable and bandwagon-friendly team.

One thing that makes Giannis ever so endearing is his humility. On Friday, the young Bucks star put this on full display again as he joked about being surprised by being labelled as the “face of the franchise.”

There is no question that Antetokounmpo is now the team's cornerstone superstar, and surely, he himself appreciates the gravity of his status. However, it does not seem that he has allowed this fact to get into his head, and he has remained humble in his success.

On Friday, Giannis guided his team to a victory against LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers, with the Bucks superstar logging a 16-point, 15-rebound double-double in his team's 131-120 victory against the Lakers.

On the season, the 24-year-old is currently averaging 26.8 points on (57.9 percent shooting), 12.6 rebounds, 5.9 assists, 1.4 steals, 1.5 blocks, and 3.8 turnovers in 33.1 minutes per ballgame. Notably, he is just draining 0.6 three-pointers per contest, and while this is not necessarily a weakness in his game, many believe that a three-point shot will further elevate his status as one of the best players in the game today.

Antetokunmpo is widely regarded as one of the frontrunners to this season's MVP award, and at this point, it would be very hard to argue against this notion.
