Milwaukee Bucks superstar forward Giannis Antetokounmpo revealed on his IG live stream that he still gets nervous before games.

Antetokounmpo, the reigning NBA MVP, says he only feels nervous because the game of basketball means so much to him.

“Yeah, I always get nervous before the game,” Giannis Antetokounmpo said. “If you don't get nervous, that means you don't care about it.”

There's arguably no one who plays harder every night for his team than Giannis. Before the NBA suspended the season due to COVID-19, Antetokounmpo and the Bucks once again had the best record in the league.

That's not by accident either. With Giannis leading the way, the Bucks are a difficult club to play against since they are so sound on both ends of the floor.

Antetokounmpo was averaging 29.6 points, 13.7 rebounds and 5.8 assists on the season for the Bucks before play was suspended due to COVID-19. Most NBA media members were going to vote for Giannis as MVP again despite how stellar LeBron James has been for the Los Angeles Lakers out West.

Along with his superb stat line, Giannis was also shooting 54.7 percent from the field, 30.6 percent from beyond the arc and 63.3 percent from the free-throw line for the Bucks, who had an impressive record of 53-12.

As every Milwaukee fan knows, Antetokounmpo is eligible to sign the supermax extension whenever the 2020 free agency period begins. If Giannis doesn't sign it, he can become an unrestricted free agent in the summer of 2021.

However, there are no indications that Antetokounmpo is looking to leave the Bucks, as he's said on countless occasions he loves Milwaukee.
