Milwaukee Bucks guard Eric Bledsoe had his fair share of the spotlight during their match against the Houston Rockets on Tuesday night. The Bucks-Rockets showdown was tagged as the final showdown of the Most Valuable Player favorites Giannis Antetokounmpo and James Harden this season.

But while all eyes were on Antetokounmpo and Harden, Bledsoe made sure that he will also get attention, and he did. The 6-foot-1 guard had a highlight block against Harden at the 8:33 mark of the fourth quarter. Harden tried to cut a 19-point deficit, but Bledsoe had other plans in mind.

Bledsoe shouted “get that shot out of here” after the huge block to the delight of the Bucks fans inside the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee. His block was just one of the tough pills to swallow for Harden, as he was slowed down by Milwaukee’s defense all throughout the game, finishing with just 23 points on 9-for-26 shooting from the field.

Bledsoe and the Bucks ran away with a 108-94 victory over the Rockets. The 29-year-old point guard led the Bucks in scoring with 23 points on 9-for-19 shooting from the field, including a 4-for-7 clip from beyond-the-arc. He also finished with seven assists, three rebounds, two blocks, and a steal for Milwaukee.

Antetokounmpo racked up 19 points and 14 rebounds to go along with four assists, one block, and one steal in 33 minutes. Brook Lopez and Khris Middleton added 13 points apiece, while Sterling Brown chipped in eight points on top of 11 rebounds and three assists.

With the win, the Bucks solidified their grip on the best record in the league at 56-19 with just seven games left to play in the regular season. The Bucks are four games ahead of the second-running Toronto Raptors, and five games clear of the Golden State Warriors, who hold the best record in the Western Conference.
