With only a few hours to spare before the deadline to extend the contracts of 2013 draftees, the Minnesota Timberwolves are currently finalizing their extension offer of 4-years, $64 million to their young big man, Gorgui Dieng.

This doesn't come as much of a surprise given the improvement the 26-year-old Senegalese has shown over the past three seasons. Last year, he had his best campaign so far as he averaged 10.1 points while adding 7.1 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 1.1 steals, and 1.2 blocks in 27.1 minutes per game.
Dieng has also shown his versatility as he is capable of playing both the four and five positions, and has earned the starting role for the Timberwolves alongside Karl-Anthony Towns.
But what is believed by many as his biggest asset is his durability as he appeared in all 82 games for his team last season and 73 games the year before. If he can continue to stay healthy and further improve his game, the contract he'll sign will prove to be a bargain for the Timberwolves .
