The Minnesota Timberwolves have been one of the busiest teams in the league for much of this offseason in regards to shaking up their roster.

According to Darren Wolfson of KTSP.com, the Timberwolves were eyeing veteran guard in Aaron Brooks and now it's being reported that the deal is done.

Brooks has an obvious connection with the Timberwolves given that first season with the Chicago Bulls was played under head coach Tom Thibodeau, who has made a concerted effort to add several of his former players to the team. He has already acquired a couple other former Bulls players in Jimmy Butler and Taj Gibson this offseason.

The 32-year-old has played nine seasons in the NBA and has established himself as a serviceable option off the bench at this point in his career. He can become a reliable scoring option that could fit in quickly as he has previous knowledge and experience running Thibodeau's offensive system.

The addition of Brooks would help further sure up the backcourt with another veteran presence in the locker room. He is coming off a season with the Indiana Pacers where he averaged a career-low 5.0 points with 1.9 assists in 13.8 minutes per contests in 65 games played all coming off the bench.
