The Philadelphia 76ers and the Boston Celtics kick off their second-round series on Monday night and it will feature two teams with some of the brightest youngest stars in the league.

According to ESPN Stats & Info it's also the first time since the NBA/ABA merger that two top three picks will face off in the playoffs in the same year they were drafted.

Markelle Fultz was taken with the first pick in the draft by the 76ers while Jayson Tatum of Duke was taken with the third pick by the Celtics.

For Futlz he dealt with that mysterious injury for much of the year and still is trying to get settled in with the team. After playing in the first couple of games in their series against the Miami Heat, he was a DNP in the last three. During the regular season, he played in 14 games averaging 7.1 points while shooting 40.5 percent from the field. During the postseason though that percentage has dropped to 14.3 percent.

For Tatum, he has had a superb rookie season and has shown how bright his future is. In 80 games he is averaging 13.9 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game.

He is shooting 47.5 percent from the field, and 43.4 percent from deep. Tatum is really going to need to step up his game as Jaylen Brown is doubtful for Game 1. He is going to need to try and help pick up the scoring if the Celtics want a chance to keep up with the 76ers and pull the upset in this one.
