Heading into their Christmas day showdown with the Boston Celtics, the Milwaukee Bucks will sure have a lot going for them. Currently dealing with a few injuries and a couple of their star players in COVID-19 health and safety protocols, the Bucks will need their supporting cast to step up immensely.

As they look to continue their surge of dominance, the Bucks will be ready for whatever challenge the Celtics throw their way. With an exciting Eastern Conference showdown set to take place on Christmas, we'll now take a look at two things the Bucks should add to their wish list for this season.

Milwaukee Bucks Christmas Wish List

2. Getting Giannis Antetokounmpo and Brook Lopez back healthy for the remainder of the season

Despite playing a good portion of their games this season without Giannis Antetokounmpo and the vast majority of them without Brook Lopez, the Bucks have still held their own and are currently sitting in third place in the ultra-competitive Eastern Conference.

Even though they done well up to this point and have shown they possess a ton of depth and talent, the Bucks will need their dynamic frontcourt duo back healthy as the season wares on.

Between their rebounding, rim protection and scoring, Giannis and Lopez are without a doubt the driving force behind this team's long-term success. Not to mention they both serve as the team's defensive anchors and create a ton of scoring opportunities for them on offense with their floor-spacing abilities. There's still a long NBA season ahead of us, but this should definitely be on Milwaukee's wish list for this season.

1. Holding a Top-4 seed in the Eastern Conference throughout the year

In their quest to repeat as NBA champions, the Bucks must do all they can to remain a Top-4 seed in the East. This will definitely prove to be difficult given the talent pool that exists across the league, but they still have plenty of skill and superstar talent to keep up with the competition and stay in the top tier of the conference.

This is something that will be of utter importance to the Bucks come playoff time because they'll need all the momentum working in their favor when they officially begin their title defense during the 2022 NBA Playoffs. So as they continue to fight hard and keep their composure through the early parts of their 2021-22 campaign, the Bucks will need to keep themselves in prime position to come away with homecourt advantage in the postseason.

With the holiday season officially upon us, hopefully the Bucks' wish list will be one that is doable and within their capabilities–especially considering how much the competition has revved up in the Eastern Conference this season.

The Bucks will need all the help and firepower they can get, but they have done extremely well up to this point and are only a few games back of the mighty Brooklyn Nets for first place in the entire conference. Plus with Giannis now out of health and safety protocols, this is just a sign of good things to come for the reigning NBA champs.
