The NBA Slam Dunk Contest definitely brought some entertainment to all NBA diehards, albeit mostly mocking the underwhelming competition. Sure enough, the contest produced some hilarious memes. Let's take a look at some.

One of Anfernee Simons' dunk involved kissing the rim before throwing it down. He didn't get a full kiss. but it still made for a solid finish. However, nothing will top the kiss between NBA legend Charles Barkley and ex-NBA referee Dick Bavetta.

As always, the NBA Slam Dunk Contest had some controversy, particularly concerning the judges. Not everyone agreed with the scores they gave the contestants, so people started wondering if they were blind or were watching another competition.

Before the contestants were announced, some fans wished for two-time NBA Slam Dunk Contest champion Zach LaVine to be there. And seeing how the contest fared, perhaps LaVine had some regrets in declining the offer.

Simons won the dunk contest, but many felt that Obi Toppin should've won it all. While Toppin showed grace amid defeat, deep inside, the New York Knicks big man might have been steaming mad.

Bettors weren't particularly happy with Cassius Stanley's first-round score. Many thought he would win it all as he was the most hyped contestant going in, but things didn't go as planned and money was lost.
