After making a few roster altering moves ahead of the 2022 NBA trade deadline, the Milwaukee Bucks could continue to make moves by staying active in the buyout market. With the departure of Donte DiVincenzo and Pat Connaughton recently suffering a fractured finger in his right hand, the Bucks may be looking to add some quality depth to their backcourt rotation.

Despite the fact that they've been playing without All-Star center Brook Lopez all season, the Bucks have still managed to hold their own and currently hold the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference. As they continue searching for ways to improve and keep pace with the emerging teams and deep talent pool out East, the Bucks will be on the lookout for buyout candidates. Having said all this, let's take a look at the top two buyout candidates for the Bucks after the 2022 NBA deadline, ranked.

Bucks Buyout Candidates

2. Kent Bazemore

With the Lakers looking to make an addition or two on the buyout market, this could lead to them parting ways with veteran swingman Kent Bazemore. His struggles in the midst of a lost and disastrous season for the Los Angeles Lakers in no way diminishes Bazemore's value as well-rounded two-way player in this league.

Let's not forget that he is still a solid defender and he shot 40% from beyond the arc when he played for the Golden State Warriors a season ago. On the Bucks, Bazemore would help them out in a variety of ways and fit the mold of their aggressive and dominant style of play. In Milwaukee, Bazemore would be able to elevate his play while making key contributions a winning team and highly efficient title contender .

1. Dennis Schroder

Looking to revive his career while playing a highly productive brand of basketball, Dennis Schroder is likely to get bought out by the Houston Rockets and bring his talents to a championship caliber team. It was only a few seasons ago that Schroder was a Sixth Man of the Year runner-up and was highly coveted by several teams across the NBA.

Even though he's been a horribly inconsistent shooter and has had a tendency to take on more than he can handle as of late, Schroder is still a pesky speedster that can be very bothersome on the defensive end of the floor. With the Bucks already possessing plenty of scoring, the addition of a defensive-minded point guard like Schroder would be an ideal fit for them. Whether he's starting or coming off the bench, Schroder would be able to find his footing in Milwaukee and be play a pivotal part in their upcoming title defense.

As a scrappy hustle player in their backcourt rotation, Schroder's grit and tenacity fits in perfectly with talents like Giannis Antetokounmpo, Jrue Holiday, Khris Middleton, Bobby Portis, Grayson Allen, and Brook Lopez (when he returns) at the helm. His facilitating and ability to create plays for others is something that the Bucks would benefit from greatly and be able to utilize consistently. If they want to repeat as Eastern Conference champions this season then taking a chance on Schroder may be what seals their return to the NBA Finals.
