Jayson Tatum has been on an absolute tear over the past month that Enes Kanter could not believe what he is seeing from the Boston Celtics rising star. The Celtics big man spoke with Chris Forsberg of NBC Sports Boston on his very own podcast — duly named The Enes Kanter Show — and said something must have gotten into Tatum after the All-Star break.

“Do you see what happened to him after All-Star Break?” Kanter said via Boston.com. “It’s like something got into him.”

The Celtics big also said that Tatum's rise isn't just happening on the offensive end, but on defense as well. Forsberg and the Turkish center also went on to discuss about what ultimately led to Tatum's massive breakout. Nonetheless, the breakout is real and this past month is already a rock solid sample size that the 21-year old is ready to the next step into legitimate superstardom.

Through the month of February, Tatum averaged 30.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 3.0 assists, to go along with 51-50-78 shooting splits, while making 4.4 threes per contest. He had six 30-point outings (half of which came in his last three), including a 41-point performance in a blockbuster showdown against the Los Angeles Lakers.

In four games since coming back from the All-Star break, his scoring is up to 34.5 points, while shooting an even better 56.6 percent from the field, 55.9 percent from long range (with 4.8 makes a night), and 89.3 percent from the foul line. While Tatum may be benefiting from Kemba Walker's absence since the All-Star break, it's clear that he is ready to become Boston's no. 1 guy.

Celtics fans are salivating over Tatum's meteoric rise and his teammates are equally ecstatic to witness it unfold.
