The Boston Celtics are already in a 2-0 hole against the Brooklyn Nets and it looks like things will get even more difficult in Game 3. C's guard Kemba Walker is now listed as questionable for Friday's contest due to a sore knee, per the Athletic's Jay King:

This couldn't be worse news for Boston. Now, Jayson Tatum will really need to erupt, especially because their second-best player in Jaylen Brown is out indefinitely as well.

Kemba was very quiet in the first two games of this series, combining for just 32 points. Considering he's basically the right-hand man to Tatum offensively right now, it hasn't been good enough.

As for Tatum, he's been cold, too. The former Duke star had a mere nine points on Tuesday but he did leave early with an eye injury. The forward scored 22 in the series opener. Without him firing on all cylinders, the Celtics have literally no chance at even winning a game against the star-studded Nets.

While Walker's status is uncertain at this point, there is definitely still a chance he plays because they can't afford to go down 3-0. With the home crowd behind them, the Celtics will be looking to grab a crucial victory. However, if Walker is indeed out, Evan Fournier and Marcus Smart are also going to step up heavily alongside Jayson Tatum, who is due for a breakout performance.
