In today's day and age, one of the major way for fans to interact and peek into the lives of their favorite NBA players and teams is through social media. Whether it be Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or Vine, fans love when players and teams document the steps taken on and off the court.
For fans of Kevin Durant and the Golden State Warriors, they'll be missing out on one major social media platform.
Durant made an incredibly difficult and highly-criticized decision to come play with the Warriors this offseason, and it seems that the reaction from fans has taken it's toll on him. Durant no longer has an Instagram page as it appears his username @easymoneysniper doesn't load up an actual page anymore.

Durant's Twitter page is still very much active, so it could be a matter of too much backlash from Instagram users. There was no reason given for the disappearance of his account, however, it does look like he was run off the platform.
According to Carlos Murillo of Blue Man Hoop, the comments Durant was receiving had no end once he joined Golden State.
But the comments got nasty after Durant chose to leave the Oklahoma City Thunder for the Golden State Warriors. The most reasonable people were leaving snake emojis in his comments across the different social media platforms. It only got worse.
By shutting down that form of media, Durant can focus on what's important to him and that's winning an NBA Championship this coming season.
