The New York Knicks season has been an utter disappointment thus far. Players are frustrated, and that frustration apparently is boiling over to social media. Knicks players have come under fire by fans with the team's play. New York big man Mitchell Robinson decided to respond to the criticism personally.

After the Knicks blew a 28-point lead at home to the Brooklyn Nets Wednesday night, a fan found his way into Robinson's DM's on Snapchat. He was clearly unhappy with Robinson's performance. “All you did tonight was run up and down the court. You had 7 boards when I had money on you getting 11+. Not even like you were scoring or anything. You had 2 points. 2 fu%$ing points. Retire from the sport.”
Robinson probably should have just deleted the message and moved on with life. Instead, he responded the ornery gambler.

The fan of course responded, twisting Robinson's words into a diss of Knicks point guard Kemba Walker. Walker has been a topic of discussion among Knicks and basketball fans alike. What many people believed would be the perfect fit has not turned out to be that at all.
Kemba Walker has struggled mightily in his first season in New York, averaging 11 points and only three assists per game. Robinson's offensive game is yet to develop. On Wednesday night, he did not get much of a chance to show any offensive prowess as he attempted only two shots.
The Knicks head into the NBA All-Star break 25-34, 12th in the Eastern Conference.
