The NBA 2K team put itself in the spotlight for many NBA players after releasing its post-bubble NBA 2K21 ratings. As such, not all players weren't thrilled with their ratings, while some players were receptive of theirs.
A few players joined 2K's Ronnie Singh as he revealed their new NBA 2K21 ratings to them post-bubble.

For Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum, the 90 rating in NBA 2K21 is a feat for the young All-Star, and one of his few goals he planned on crossing off his list by the conclusion of the 2019-20 season.
“I feel good,” Tatum said. “You set out a goal before the season, and once you accomplish that goal, it feels good. And now we're on to the next marker.”
Los Angeles Clippers forward Paul George, who was adamant on the preconceived notion that his ratings had fell, guessed his NBA 2K21 rating spot on at an 88, but he also gave a bold take on where he'd be by the end of the year.

“By the end of the year…you know what? This is going to be an amazing training going into this next season. I'm predicting I'll be around a 95. 95 tour is coming. So 2K22, I'll be at like a 96, but that's down the line.”
Denver Nuggets budding star Jamal Murray kept a humble posture when his NBA 2K21 rating was revealed, which didn't make much of a jump from his 2K20 rating.

Going from an 84 rating in 2K20 to an 87 in NBA 2K21 clearly disappointed the guard, though he played it off in good humor.

Damian Lillard, one of the cover faces of NBA 2K21, replied on Twitter after his incredible 95 rating.
