Texas A&M junior center Tyler Davis will declare for the 2018 NBA Draft, according to Jonathan Givony of ESPN.
A 6-foot-10 big man, he posted 14.9 points and 8.9 rebounds in 29 minutes per game for the Aggies during the 2017-18 season, spearheading them to a Sweet 16 appearance in this year's NCAA Tournament.
Davis is an active low-post scorer with a nose for the ball and active on the glass, with decent shot-blocking instincts and plenty of mobility, despite his larger 265-pound frame.
Mainly seen as a bruiser by NBA scouts, Davis has much to prove during his combine workouts in hopes to merit a higher spot on the draft board.

The 21-year-old needs to show he's able to finish with either hand around the rim, show consistency with his jumper, and most-importantly prove that he can hang with the athleticism of NBA athletes.
Davis shot over 60 percent in every game of the NCAA Tournament, rising his stock with each game until the Michigan Wolverines took A&M down with a hot-shooting performance. He scored 24 points on 11-of-17 shooting in a 99-72 blowout loss.
He was named to the First Team All-SEC after his outstanding play, building off a promising sophomore season with the Aggies.
