Charles Barkley was known as one of the most talented NBA players of all-time. Barkley was known for saying outlandish things and generally always being in the headlines, something that hasn't necessarily changed during his career as a commentator. Well, that career could soon be coming to an end judging by Barkley's recent comments. The former NBA star spoke out on potentially retiring and leaving ‘fat-ass' Shaquille O'Neal, his fellow commentator, per Brad Townsend of the Dallas Morning News.
At the end of the call, Barkley was asked how much longer he'll continue to be a broadcaster. Barkley, 59, says he has 2 years left on his contract "and that's probably going to be it for me." ….

Inside The NBA analyst Charles Barkley said that he has two years left on his contract, which will probably be “it for him” as a commentator. Barkley said that he's had a great time with Shaquille O'Neal, Kenny Smith and Ernie Johnson but that he doesn't see the point in “working until he dies.”

That's when the former NBA star hilariously took a shot at Shaq, saying that he didn't want to “die on TV sitting next to fat-ass Shaq.” Barkley said he would much rather be fishing or on the golf course.
Shaq definitely won't appreciate Barkley calling him a fat-ass, though one can bet that the former Los Angeles Lakers star center will miss the back-and-forth between himself and Chuck when the latter ultimately does decide to retire.
