The NBA has sent a memo to teams telling them that conduct of owners, coaches and other team personnel “will be a point of emphasis for the league office during the remainder of the regular season and going forward,” per Tim Reynolds of the Associated Press.
It comes shortly after Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban was fined $500,000 for his criticism of NBA officiating:

To recall, Cuban and the Mavs filed a protest to the NBA office over their 111-107 loss to the Atlanta Hawks. The protest focused on Hawks center John Collins’ putback with 8.4 seconds left, which led to Cuban criticizing the state of the league’s officiating on Twitter following the game.
The Mavs wanted the game to be replayed before the incorrect goaltending call. The game would then resume with a jump ball with 9.7 seconds left and the Hawks up by two.
However, as expected, the NBA has denied the Mavs' protest.
Earlier in the season, the Houston Rockets also protested a missed James Harden dunk against the San Antonio Spurs, asking to replay part of the fourth quarter, but they were met with a resounding no from the league as well.
