Normally, I would advise against getting a meme as a tattoo. The average lifespan of a meme is far too short to make a lifelong commitment to it. Even the best memes only have enough staying power for a couple weeks. Rarely, a meme can hang around longer than a month.
But the Crying Jordan meme may be the one exception. Its run atop meme culture was unprecedented at the time and still unmatched to this day. Although it isn't as popular as it once was, every once in a while you'll see a perfectly placed Crying Jordan meme.

Although it's not nearly as prevalent as it once was, this meme is still a first ballot Hall of Famer in the Hall of Memes. Much like the subject of the meme, Michael Jordan, this meme is one of the greatest of all time. It's somewhat ironic that the moment that inspired this Hall of Fame meme came during Michael Jordan's Hall of Fame speech.
It is still the GOAT of memes and for that reason, this tattoo isn't a bad decision.
