Even though Tiger Woods failed to win the 2018 PGA Championship on Sunday, he made the nation take an exhilarating ride to punctuate the weekend with an awesome performance in the final round of the tournament.
Woods entered Sunday inside the top five of the event and clearly in the hunt for his first major win since 2008, when he bagged the U.S. Open that year. In fact, Woods put up a performance for the ages, shooting 6-under-64 to finish solo second and behind champion Brooks Koepka. The crowd at Bellerive Country Club in Town and Country went nuts every time Woods made a shot, but some missed putts in the later holes prevented him from winning his first PGA Championship since 2007.
Nevertheless, Woods wowed everyone who saw him play, including a number of NBA players, who were following the action.
Golden State Warriors forward Andre Iguodala was obviously enthralled by the play of the 14-time majors champion.

Memphis Grizzlies swingman Garrett Temple felt as though he was watching the final minutes of an NBA Finals slugfest.

Charlotte Hornets forward Nicolas Batum was simply happy that Woodâs vintage form is seemingly back.

Meanwhile, Chris Paul, who is probably a few years away from hanging up his sneakers and hitting the links on the regular basis, was left awed by the fantastic showing of Tiger Woods.

Golf fans (and these NBA players) will have to wait until next year to see whether Woods can add to his collection of major wins.
