After suffering a heartbreaking loss in the closing seconds of game 1 to the Boston Celtics, the Brooklyn Nets will be back with a vengeance in game 2. With a series of adjustments in the works and a determined squad at the helm, the Nets will come out of the gates swinging in their second matchup with the C's. Trying to steal a win in Boston will come with its fair share of challenges, but with the star power Brooklyn possesses it's also very doable. Nets-Celtics Game 2 Predictions
Kevin Durant will bounce back in game 2
Even though the Nets came within one basket of sealing the win, Kevin Durant played very poorly all game. He shot just 9-of-24 from the field and 1-of-5 from beyond the arc while committing six turnovers in 41 minutes. Brooklyn was outscored by 13 points during that timeframe. So KD will have to play much better in game 2 if they're hoping to tie up the series.
As a two-time NBA champion, two-time finals MVP, scoring champion, and league MVP, Durant has shown time and again that he's one of the best clutch players of all-time. With an underwhelming performance still in on his mind, there's no doubt that he'll bounce back in a major way and post big numbers against the Celtics on Wednesday night.

The Nets will have a balanced attack
On Sunday afternoon, the Nets had a relatively quiet showing from Seth Curry, Bruce Brown, Andre Drummond, Patty Mills, and Nic Claxton. If they want a better outcome in game 2, then they'll need a more balanced attack from their supporting cast. Drummond didn't play productive minutes, Curry, Mills, and Brown were ineffective, and Claxton's play was streaky all game long.
The Nets will need major contributions from all of these guys if they plan on heading back home with a hard fought victory under their belt. Game 2 could be a turning point in this series for the Nets, and if they're able to get a ton of production from their role players, then this should help them change the narrative and tie things up.
Kyrie Irving will have another strong showing against the Celtics
After hitting a series of big shots in his first playoff game of 2022, Kyrie Irving will be ready to put on another memorable performance against his former team. Between his unmatched ball handling, limitless scoring range, and ability to finish in a multitude of ways at the rim, Irving is bound to give the Celtics all kinds of defensive woes.
As dynamic playmaker with a chip on his shoulder, Irving is ready to take this team to new heights and put on another scoring clinic on Wednesday. His craftiness and creativity are what's made him so lethal throughout his playing career, and in game 2 Kyrie will be locked in and laser focused. This will only spell trouble for the Celtics who will undoubtedly have their issues guarding him once again.
