Toronto Raptors guard Kyle Lowry is pretty pleased with the Philadelphia Eagles' decision to move up in the 2021 NFL Draft to select DeVonta Smith 10th overall in the first round.

In a series of tweets on Thursday, The Athletic's Blake Murphy detailed how the 35-year-old playmaker hilariously ignored his fellow reporter Eric Koreen because he was busy doodling some Eagles-related stuff after the draft. Lowry also shared his belief that Philly's football club will get to soar once more at the top of the NFL standings after drafting a talented wide receiver like DeVonta Smith.

The Eagles, of course, were supposed to draft at No.12 but couldn't pass up on the chance to take the former University of Alabama standout after seeing him still available on the board. They found takers in the Dallas Cowboys, who were willing to trade down after seeing their initial targets go to different teams. The Eagles shipped a second third-round pick at No. 84 overall to Dallas and eventually snagged the Heisman Trophy winner.

Philadelphia does own the most number of picks in this year's draft with 11, after taking in a lot of future assets in that blockbuster Carson Wentz to the Colts.

Kyle Lowry, meanwhile, definitely loves the direction that his hometown team is going. After all, they just reunited the dynamic Smith to his college quarterback Jalen Hurts. Seems like Lowry is not the only one thrilled by Philly's draft day move since it also got the stamp of approval from the passionate Eagles fans.
