After losing a dramatic Game 7 to LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers, Draymond Green took the blame for the Warriors‘ defeat and said it's going to bother him all offseason.
Well, Green is now taking steps towards getting the bitter taste of losing out of his mouth prior to the beginning of the 2016-17 regular season.
According to Marc J. Spears of ESPN, Green has accepted his invitation to play for Team USA in the 2016 Rio Olympics.

A number of NBA stars, including teammate Stephen Curry, have declined their invitations to play for the national team, but the roster is still composed of some highly talented individuals, including Kevin Durant, Paul George, Kyrie Irving, DeMarcus Cousins, and Klay Thompson.
Green's presence will be invaluable for a Team USA squad that will need to play with conviction to defeat their international competition, who are aiming to knock them off their throne of two consecutive Gold Medals. Of course, Green and many of his American teammates weren't on those past Gold Medal winners, so their motivation will certainly match that of their opponents.
Given Draymond's competitive nature and his desire to respond from the biggest collapse in NBA Finals history, his addition to Team USA is great news for American basketball fans.
