The Houston Rockets recently shared a James Harden clip on its official Twitter account, aimed directly at Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic.

Before we get into it, here is the aforementioned clip:

For those lacking context, Doncic dished out a similar between-the-legs dime the Houston star's a few days ago. He hit up Mavs big man Maxi Kleber on a hard cut, which ultimately resulted in an and-1 jam for Kleber. The play was simply amazing, especially considering how the young Slovenian pulled it off in a crucial juncture in a tight ballgame against the league-best Milwaukee Bucks. To take it a notch higher, Doncic also dished out the assist with Defensive Player of the Year front-runner Giannis Antetokounmpo on him. If you haven't seen it, check it out here.

Not to be outdone, the Rockets wanted to remind everybody — perhaps Doncic especially — that it was actually their own star, James Harden, who is “The Originator” of this astounding pass. They even have the video evidence to prove it.

Unfortunately for the Rockets, Harden's dime here led to just two out of the 96 points they scored on Friday against the Philadelphia 76ers. The shorthanded Sixers, however, dropped 134 points on Houston, finishing the contest on an impressive 38-point win over Harden and company.

It's not as if the Rockets didn't try here, as Harden logged a healthy 26 minutes, ending the blowout with 27 points (on 9-of-16 shooting), three rebounds, 10 assists, a steal, two blocks, and seven (!) turnovers. This may have been a non-bearing game for Houston, but there's no denying that this was a terrible way to close out their regular season.
