And just like that, Washington Wizards guard Bradley Beal has etched himself forever in franchise lore, slotting himself as the player who has played the fourth most games in the team's uniform. It's not a Bradley Beal Wizards record in the traditional sense, as there's actually three guys (not active) ahead of him. Bradley Beal Wizards record
On a lazy Sunday evening, Bradley Beal made franchise history. Depending on what happens through the rest of his career, this might only be the start of it. Nonetheless, as of the time of this writing, he has now played 596 games for the DC based franchise. That's good for fourth most ever.

Since being selected by the Wizards in the 2012 NBA Draft, Beal has become the default face of the franchise, which has become especially true since his backcourt mate went to Houston.
Beal is an excellent player. It's largely why this “Bradley Beal sets Wizards record” post is even worth hurling on Al Gore's internet. All things being equal, though, it's been unfortunate that he hasn't played in as many meaningful games as some of his colleagues.
The good news is that the Wizards are on a roll at the moment. Time will tell if it means anything for this specific season, but for the longer term, maybe it keeps Bradley Beal happy in Washington — which can go a long way in properly returning this rather neat franchise into perennial contenders.
