The Stephen Curry trend continues to make waves in the WNBA. After Sabrina Ionescu, it's Phoenix Mercury star Skylar Diggins-Smith who whips out the âNight Nightâ celebration this time.
Sure enough, she couldn't be more savage with her execution.
Against the Dallas Wings on Saturday, Diggins-Smith channeled her inner Curry with a clutch triple to seal the game with less than 10 seconds remaining. Naturally, she had to do the âNight Nightâ gesture to rub insult to the injury.
As if that wasn't enough, the Mercury guard shouted âNight Nightâ as well to make sure the Wings know it means.

Once Stephen Curry sees Skylar Diggins-Smith's celebration, there is no doubt he'll absolutely love it. After all, the Golden State Warriors star couldn't help but give a shoutout to Sabrina Ionescu when she pulled it off. He even asked her to start a movement with it, and by the looks of it, the celebration is taking off in the WNBA.
With that said, don't be surprised if you see more WNBA players do their best Steph impersonation along with the âNight Nightâ gesture. Who knows, that championship mentality, confidence and swag might just rub into them.
Perhaps soon enough, we'll get to see who among the WNBA stars today did the celebration best.
