Jim Boylen got his first look at New Orleans Pelicans prized rookie Zion Williamson, and the Chicago Bulls head coach was impressed by his body control given his massive size.

Williamson finished with 29 points on 12-of-13 shooting, leading the Pelicans to a 127-125 win over the Bulls. His baskets included dunks and barreling lay-ups wherein he displayed full-control of his 285-pound frame.

“I was amazed at his body control for a guy that big,” Boylen said of Williamson, per K.C. Johnson of NBC Sports Chicago. “There were moments where it looked like he wasn’t going to get to the rim and he did.”

Though it's just a preseason game, basketball fans got a good peek of what Williamson can do. Much has been said about his freakish athleticism, and he just showed why analysts and NBA players alike have called him a once-in-a-generation athlete.

Moreover, his preseason games reveal that he's more than just a player with a gifted physique. He's also a basketball talent with a great understanding of the game.

From the observation of the commentators of the Bulls versus Pelicans game, Williamson seems to have a natural knack for the ball. He's always in the right place at the right time, knows when to cut, when the pass will arrive, and when and where the defense's weak point is.
