New York Knicks veteran Derrick Rose is no stranger to loud arenas in the heat of playoff basketball. That's why he was by no means surprised by the Knicks faithful absolutely destroying Trae Young in Game 1, even chanting “F**k you” at one point.

However, Trae torched the Knicks for 32 points including a game-winning floater with 0.9 seconds left on the clock, which quickly silenced all 15,000 fans at Madison Square Garden. But according to Rose, Young's antics towards the fans is exactly what basketball should be.

I mean, D-Rose has a point. the supporters are there to make noise and disrupt their teams' opponent. While it didn't necessarily work on Sunday, you better believe they'll be at it again in Game 2 for their Knicks.

New York really had no answer for the Hawks star defensively. He was basically scoring in every way imaginable in the series opener, but Trae did get criticized heavily on Monday by NY Mayor Bill de Blasio, who claimed he was “hunting for fouls”. Young took nine free throws in the fourth quarter alone.

As Rose pointed out, the Knicks are going to make it a lot tougher on the 22-year-old on Wednesday. A win at home is going to be crucial before heading out on the road.
