Oklahoma City Thunder star point guard Chris Paul has a message for NBA fans.
Just because NBA games are resuming on July 30, it doesn't mean Paul and other players are going to “shut up and dribble.” In fact, the NBPA president promises to use the “bubble” games as an opportunity to speak out even more on racial injustices in America.

Many NBA players, most notably Kyrie Irving, Dwight Howard and Avery Bradley, were concerned that the return of the NBA would take the attention off the Black Lives Matter movement following the tragic deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and Ahmaud Arbery.
Article Continues BelowIt's a valid concern to have, as people will start watching games again on ESPN and TNT instead of protesting racial injustices and police brutality.
Hopefully, the biggest players in the game such as LeBron James, Chris Paul, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Anthony Davis and other superstars use the “bubble” games to instill change in America, as it's clear racism is still prevalent in 2020.
Before the season was suspended in March, Paul was averaging 17.7 points, 4.9 rebounds and 6.8 assists in his first year with the Thunder after playing for the Houston Rockets in 2017-18 and 2018-19. The 10-time All-Star and future NBA Hall of Famer was also shooting 48.9 percent from the floor, 36.2 percent from beyond the arc and 90.0 percent from the free-throw line.
Paul and the Thunder have already clinched a spot in the 2020 NBA playoffs.
