He may not be the tallest of guards at 6-foot-3, but Oklahoma City Thunder superstar Russell Westbrook has proven over his career that he is one of the best rebounders at his position. This year, he has taken it a notch higher.

During their game on Wednesday night against the Washington Wizards, he grabbed 14 more boards and finished the game with his fourth consecutive triple-double.

Asked by reporters if he has a special technique on how he rebounds, especially on some crucial ones he made during the game, Westbrook said he has none but shared the mindset that helps him get more of them.

This season, the 28-year-old UCLA product is averaging 10.5 rebounds per game which is more than what other centers in the league get per contest. If he continues to have that kind of mindset, averaging a triple double for the entire season won't be a remote possibility after all. Most importantly, he'll be able to help his team win more games and make a good run in the playoffs in mid-April.
