Veteran point guard Chris Paul came up big when it mattered most on Monday afternoon and the seasoned signal caller led the Oklahoma City Thunder to an impressive come-from-behind win over the Houston Rockets. While Paul and company managed to even the must-watch Western Conference series at two games apiece, the longtime NBA point guard was concerned with something much greater than basketball upon speaking to the media following his team's Game 4 victory over the Rockets.
Paul notably took the time to speak out against police brutality against the black community following the shooting of Jacob Blake in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Not only that, but the Oklahoma City point guard also made a point to urge his fellow athletes to spark change throughout the United States.
"I just want to send my prayers out to Jacob Blake and their family."

The Rockets actually started the second half a perfect 8-of-8 from behind the three-point line, before ultimately chucking up nearly 60 three-point attempts on Monday afternoon, Paul and the Thunder clawed their way back into the game before the third quarter even came to a close. With the game going back and forth for the final frame, it was Paul and his always reliable demeanor that proved to be the difference in Game 4.
With Paul leading the Thunder to a 117-114 win over the Rockets, the former Houston point guard scored 26 points across 37 minutes of action while also recording six rebounds and three assists. If the Thunder are going to pull off the series upset after winning two consecutive games over the Rockets, Paul is going to need to stay hot.
