Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James is just the latest NBA player to react to Kenosha police shooting Jacob Blake in the back on Sunday.

LeBron has long been outspoken on matters of racial injustice, so it's no surprise that he expressed righteous outrage over this latest act of police violence:

LeBron James is right to be upset about this. Jacob Blake was allegedly trying to break up a fight on the scene and was not armed. As he tried to return to his car, which reportedly had his three children inside, he was followed and shot in the back by police. The 29-year-old Black man has been fighting for his life since the shooting, and the officers involved have been put on administrative leave.

This shooting sparked mass protests in Kenosha. It comes on the heels of the mass protests around the country in the wake of the deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and others at the hands of law enforcement. This could result in another swell of protests.

NBA players, including LeBron James, have brought their fight against racial injustice inside the bubble down in Orlando. This Jacob Blake shooting will only result in more players speaking out. Kyle Kuzma and Donovan Mitchell are two other players who have weighed in with visceral reactions, and the Milwaukee Bucks also released a statement.

Don't be surprised if LeBron makes a statement on this before and/or after his Lakers face the Portland Trail Blazers in Game 4 on Monday night. Los Angeles is up 2-1 in this first-round series.
