Following a loss to the Boston Celtics on Thursday night, Russell Westbrook isn't worried about the Oklahoma City Thunder's slow start to the season, despite starting out 0-4 through the early get-go.
“No need to panic,” said Westbrook, according to Erik Horne of The Oklahoman. “We’re not starting the way we wanted to, but we’ll be OK. I’ll make sure of that.”
“We'll be alright. I'm confident in my guys in the locker room, I'm confident in myself and my abilities to make sure we have an opportunity to win a ball game.”
A Westbrook-less team was not enough to take down the Golden State Warriors during the season-opener nor the L.A. Clippers on the road last week, but the Thunder managed to drop what was supposed to be their sure-fire first win of the season against the developing Sacramento Kings, now with Westbrook back in the lineup.

Westbrook has a mere 13 points on 5-of-20 shooting from the floor and while he led the team with 15 rebounds and eight assists, his 0-for-5 outing from deep and game-high five turnover spelled an ugly ending for the Thunder.
The Thunder went 8-12 during their first 20 games last season before getting it back into gear. Westbrook and company have a lot of questions to answer this time around after a quick exit to the lower-seeded Utah Jazz in the first round of the playoffs.
