The New Orleans Pelicans possess one of the league's most talented frontcourts with the pairing of All-Star big men Anthony Davis and DeMarcus Cousins.

It has shaped the bulk of their offense coming from their them, which is something that Tony Allen believes should be the Pelicans' primary objective on that end of the floor.

This game plan will make it clear if they can work effectively together to bring success to the Pelicans to lift them into the playoff picture and possibly further than that next season. Both have already established that they are premier talents who are arguably the two best big men in the NBA with plenty of potential to lead the franchise for many years down the line.

That said, the Pelicans have added a few pieces to the puzzle this past offseason such as former All-Star point guard Rajon Rondo and re-signed another former All-Star in Jrue Holiday to a max contract, establishing some much-needed stability in the backcourt. It's a highly-important season for the Pelicans that goes well beyond that as Cousins is set to become a free agent next summer.

This only sets up the table for what should be an entertaining campaign for the Pelicans with much optimism on what may come about behind their dynamic frontcourt duo.
