LaVar Ball has already made it clear that his son, Lonzo Ball, wants no part of playing for the New Orleans Pelicans, which is one of the few snags in any potential deal that would send Anthony Davis to the Los Angeles Lakers.

LaVar states that he wants Lonzo in Phoenix playing for the Suns if the Lakers decide to move him, and the Suns apparently do have some interest in Lonzo and would be willing to help facilitate a three-way trade, according to Tania Ganguli and Broderick Turner of the Los Angeles Times.

It makes sense for Phoenix to be intrigued at the prospect of Ball, as the Suns are in desperate need of a point guard to add to what is a solid foundation of young talent that includes Deandre Ayton, Devin Booker, T.J. Warren and Josh Jackson.

Of course, three-way deals are easier said than done, especially when it comes to a player of Davis' caliber, as there are going to be a lot of moving parts in this potential trade.

LaVar not only said that he wants Lonzo in Phoenix, but on Tuesday, he came out and ripped Lakers head coach Luke Walton once again, saying that Walton has given Lonzo a “losing attitude,” adding that Walton has been the worst possible coach for his son.

The boisterous father had been relatively quiet this season up until rumors surfaced that Lonzo was being mentioned in trade talks for Davis, which pushed LaVar to speak up and say that he does not want his son in New Orleans.
