Blake Griffin has been flying high since he came into the league, dunking over 7-footers and throwing the ball down with ferocity. This time, he might be rocketing off to space for his latest out-of-this-world venture.

The Detroit Pistons power forward posted a gif image on his Twitter account. He is shown wearing an astronaut suit and perhaps teasing the ball floating from his hands in zero-gravity.

Griffin’s followers were quite intrigued by the image and asked several questions. And, of course, there are the usual funny and sarcastic comments.

Ben Schwartz asked,

“HOLY SH**! ARE WE GOING TO SPACE CAMP, DUDE?!?! SHOULD I PACK A BAG?!?! DO I NEED TO SUPPLY MY OWN SPACE SUIT OR LIKE WHO CARES, LET'S JUST WING IT!!! I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU ARE DROPPING THIS ON ME ON TWITTER. GIVE A DUDE SOME TIME TO PACK, YOU KNOW!!! CAN'T WAIT, SEE YOU IN SPACE!”

User Eli Bashi, perhaps not too happy with coach Stan Van Gundy’s coaching this season, asked, “Is that the day SVG is getting fired? Can't wait!”

Griffin is definitely not going to another NBA ballclub for sure since the Pistons just got him in a trade and the trade deadline is already over.

As the teaser shows the date 3.1.18, we’ll all find out what Griffin (and maybe the Pistons, too) are up to soon enough.
