The Portland Trail Blazers grinded out a crazy quadruple overtime victory over the Denver Nuggets in Game 3. Unfortunately, they cannot celebrate for long as they are now facing some concerning news regarding center Enes Kanter.

Kanter said after the grueling contest that he re-separated his shoulder during the first of four overtimes and suffered a right bursa injury on Friday, per Joe Freeman of The Oregonian. He added that he could potentially miss a crucial Game 4 on Sunday.

Despite claiming to re-injuring his shoulder in the first overtime, Kanter dug deep and continued to play significant minutes in the second to fourth overtimes. The Turkish big man was understandably exhausted on Friday, posting a photo of himself laying down in locker room after the game, with the caption: “Whatever it freaking takes. #RipCity”

This man is an absolute warrior. Truly, Kanter is laying everything out there for the Blazers. Add the fact that he is doing this with his right arm on the verge of falling off.

The Turkish big man played 56 grueling minutes on Friday and finished with 18 points and 15 rebounds. He's been averaging nearly 20 points and 10 rebounds in this series.

More importantly, he has the daunting task of going toe-to-toe and trying to contain Nuggets star center Nikola Jokic, who played an unprecedented 65 minutes himself in Game 3 and finished with a triple-double.

Kanter separated his shoulder in Game 5 of their first-round series against the Oklahoma City Thunder. But he fought through the pain and opted to play through it in this Western Conference semis. But playing hurt came at a cost as he appeared to have re-injured the already bum shoulder in Game 3.

Rest up, big man. Rip City will need you for Game 4.
