Newly acquired center Enes Kanter celebrated his first win with his new team, the Portland Trail Blazers, the best way he knows how — through social media.
It took Kanter only mere minutes after dispatching the Brooklyn Nets on the road for the big man to take to Twitter and throw a little bit of shade toward his former team, the New York Knicks:
Wow! That’s how winning feels 🤔
I can get use to that 😅#RipCity— Enes FREEDOM (@EnesFreedom) February 22, 2019
Kanter had racked up only 10 wins with the Knicks before being bought out by the team, as they snapped a 17-game skid right shortly after he found a new home in Portland. The big man did show some respect for his former team after the game, but he still couldn't help but take this little jab on Twitter.

The Turkish center had a sparkling start to his career with the Blazers, scoring 18 points off the bench in 20 minutes of play, going 8-of-9 from the field. His only miss was a 3-pointer.
Kanter also grabbed nine rebounds and got a steal in his short time debuting for Rip City, bound to soon make himself a fan favorite, as he often endears himself to the fan base no matter where he lands.
The 26-year-old has seen stops with the Utah Jazz, Oklahoma City Thunder, Knicks and now the Blazers throughout his eight-year career, this time bringing a veteran presence to the second unit for a team that is chasing a top-three seed.
