Portland Trail Blazers big man Jusuf Nurkic got into it with Philadelphia 76ers All-Star Ben Simmons on Saturday during Portland's 130-115 win in Philly, and the 7-footer didn't stop there, as he called out Simmons in the postgame locker room when he met with reporters.

Nurkic says he's a way better shooter than Simmons and that it's “ridiculous” how Simmons can't shoot from the perimeter.

The Blazers sagged off Ben Simmons on Saturday, literally daring him to shoot from the perimeter. Simmons finished with 29 points, seven rebounds and 10 assists, but the Blazers got the last laugh with the monster road win.

Nurkic was his usual productive self, as he put up 24 points and 10 rebounds in the win while shooting 9-of-13 from the field and 6-of-7 from the free-throw line. Portland is now 36-23 on the season and 12-15 on the road.

As everyone knows, Simmons has yet to make a 3-pointer in his NBA career. He entered Saturday 0-for-14 from beyond the arc. The reigning Rookie of the Year did go 7-of-8 from the free-throw line on Saturday, but he still has no confidence in his jump shot.

Until Simmons can hit the outside shot, opposing teams are going to continue to sag off him and dare him to shoot the ball.
